UNISA to bestow a posthumous award upon the late Founding President, HE. Dr. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma on Friday, 14 November 2025, during its prestigious 2025 Chancellor’s Calabash Award in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Nujoma to posthumously honoured in Angola
The President of the Republic of Angola HE João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço will posthumously confer upon, HE. Dr. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma, Founding President and Father of the Namibian Nation, the Commemorative Medal of the 50th Anniversary of the Independence of Angola, in the Class of Honour. The decoration ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 06 November 2025 in Luanda, Angola. Cde Utoni Nujoma will attend the ceremony.
Official Handover of Etunda Farm Primary School
